These Terms govern your use of 8D-PolComp (the “Service”). By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

   1. The Service provides a political questionnaire, generates results, and provides tools to explore aggregated data.

   2. The Service is informational/entertainment. It is not professional advice.

2. Eligibility

   1. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

   2. If local law requires a higher age for consent, do not submit optional demographics.

3. Public Dataset and Submissions

   1. When you take the test, your results are stored.

   2. Optional demographics are only stored if you submit them.

   3. You understand the dataset is designed to be public via the Data Explorer and exports.

   4. Group test results are visible to others using the same group ID/link.

4. Acceptable Use

   1. Do not spam the test or submit results at high frequency.

   2. Do not bypass or attempt to bypass hCaptcha or other protections.

   3. Do not submit automated responses using bots/scripts.

   4. Do not intentionally poison the dataset with malicious, abusive, or deliberately false data.

   5. Do not abuse endpoints (including repeated high-volume requests or scraping that impacts performance).

5. Reasonable Retakes

   1. The Service is intended for one genuine submission per person in most cases.

   2. Retaking is allowed if enough time has passed and your views may have changed.

6. Licence to Use Submitted Data

   1. By submitting data, you grant us permission to store, process, aggregate, and display it as part of the Service.

   2. This includes using data to generate comparisons, matches, and analytics features.

7. Advertising and Analytics

   1. The Service may show ads and use analytics tools to measure performance and improve the product.

8. Availability and Changes

   1. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

   2. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or uninterrupted access.

9. Disclaimers

   1. Political tests are inherently imperfect and can be biased.

   2. Your results depend on interpretation, honesty, and changes over time.

   3. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

    1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

    2. You are responsible for deciding what optional information you submit.

11. Enforcement

    1. We may rate-limit, block, or restrict access if we detect abuse or violations of these Terms.

    2. We may remove results that appear automated, fraudulent, or malicious.

    1. We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will change.
